Derby (UK) based Tidyco supplies hydraulic braking systems to rolling stock OEM customers as well as providing overhaul services for the rail aftersales market.

Tidyco has been heavily involved in the Rail industry, supplying Rolling Stock and infrastructure since the early 1970’s, originally working closely with British Rail. Tidyco has worked on a number of new build projects with all major OEM companies such as Bombardier, Hitachi, Alstom and Siemens.

Tidyco supplies thousands of replacement products to the Rail aftermarket and offers a repair, overhaul and test service for safety critical items. In addition the Tidyco specialist Rail division works with many Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to continually improve safety, performance, reliability and life cycle cost.

Tidyco manufactures Hydraulic Hose and Pneumatic assemblies up to 2½" bore in rubber, thermoplastic, PTFE, Stainless Steel, Vamac in all types of threads and end configurations which are available ex-stock. Tidyco’s fully equipped workshop with National Fluid Power Centre trained engineers repair, service and test the full range of Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment once manufactured.

Tidyco has worked with a number of customers to develop specialised repair and overhaul techniques. A particular service offering is parts kitting service which is used to supply complex, multi-level kits of parts for our OEM customers. Computer Controlled Materials Requirements Planning systems ensures all components and assemblies involved are purchased, manufactured and kitted together in accordance with the customers specifications.
