Evaporative Cooling
Evaporative cooling, an efficient way of cooling internal air
What is Evaporative Cooling?
Evaporative Air Conditioners are often called Evaporative Air Coolers. The most common type of Evaporative Air Conditioning is the direct type in which the hot outside air is cooled within the machine and forced into the building and exhausted to outside again. It works by the outside air either hot or dry is pumped into the outside unit and through water soaked pads. As the air passes through the pads, the water is evaporated and the heat in the air is absorbed, lowering the air temperature. Air is then forced through the ducting system using a motor driven fan creating a comfortable fresh air breeze.
How Does an Evaporative Air Conditioner Work?
