The Drain versions of the RX, in corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel, are designed for clean and dirty water, for use in domestic, trade and industrial applications. They will handle suspended soft solids up to 10mm in diameter (users with applications containing larger solids should select from the Vortex versions on page 21).  The top discharge design makes them suitable for partial immersion applications and where space or access is restricted.  The 416 stainless steel shaft is fitted with a mechanical seal, intermediate oil chamber and inner lip seal, which offer wear resistance and protection in the event of dry running.  Maximum liquid temperature is 50°C, however intermittent use up to 90°C for 3 minutes is permissible.  A choice of five versions in the range enables cost effective pump selection.  They will offer excellent service and consistent operation in challenging duties.
