The SR series are traditional cast iron, semi-rotary, hand-pumps. Supplied with operating handle and screwed mating fl anges, they are versatile pumps suitable for water, petrol, diesel, oils, lubricants, alcohols, and non corrosive solvents. Maximum suction lift, with a foot valve is 4 metres. Can be wall mounted, permanently installed or fi tted to a tank or barrel.

Static electricity may be generated by the operation of semi-rotary pumps. In order to prevent sparking caused by static build-up, when pumping fl ammable liquids an insulated bonding wire must be used i.e. the container must be grounded to earth by means of a conductive earthing lead, fastened between the container and a suitable grounded earth point.
