The Panthers are self-priming rotary vane pumps with cast iron pump bodies for diesel transfer only. They are fi tted with internal, 100 micron fi lters, which are easily accessible for cleaning. In addition, they have internal by-pass valves, which protect the pump (for up to 2 minutes) from pressure caused by a closed nozzle. They have steel shafts, which are fi tted with mechanical seals and have TEFV IP55 motors fi tted with on/off switches and power leads are supplied. Maximum liquid temperature is 50ºC. It should not be run dry, so an initial priming of diesel is necessary. Maximum suction lift, with a foot valve, is 3 metres, however without one, 2 metres, or less, is recommended. As an optional extra they can be supplied with pumping kits, that comprises a manual nozzle*, hose fittings, strainer and 5 metres of rubber/PVC hose that can be cut to the required suction and discharge length. They should not be run dry, so they should always have an initial priming of diesel. Suitable for biodiesel. They MUST NOT pump water, petrol, high viscosity liquids, chemicals, solvents or products with a low fl ash point. They are supplied free-standing, so for ease of handling and added protection, a full frame is a worthy investment as an optional extra. * Some cars will not accept this size of nozzle (please check with our sales department for guidance)
