What is QR Scanning?
All products and assets despatched by Tidyco now carry a QR scan code on the product label. Customers can use a QR scanning app with a smart phone to quickly scan the code and be directed to the Tidyco website where all the product information is displayed. From this point, customers are able to rapidly identify and re-order a product or request a service visit for an asset such as an air conditioning unit.
How do I get the Scanning software onto my smartphone?
There are a range of QR scanning applications available for download to your smartphone compatible with a wide range of smartphones. Tidyco recommend QuickMark available from http://www.quickmark.com.tw/en/basic/download.asp or downloadable via the Apple App Store directly to your iPhone.
How does QR Scanning work?
The product or asset will carry a small adhesive Product identification label. On the label you will see a square symbol separated into small dots and lines. Simply point the camera of your smartphone at this symbol whilst running the QR app and it will focus in and capture the product details automatically. You will then be presented with a link button which will take you directly to the Tidyco website where the product information will be displayed along with the option to reorder etc. if desired.
